FAQ

LISTENERS

You can listen to shows an any of the major podcasting platforms eg Spotify, Apple, Google Podcasts, Overcast etc. In case your favorite podcasting app does not have the show, you could do the following:

  • Listen to episodes directly on our website. We have embedded audio players and the site is mobile friendly.
  • Add the RSS feed of the show to your podcasting app. The feed for each show is available as a button on the show and episode pages.

We love feedback and are happy to shape our content take it any way you want to give it!

  • The best way is to join the free CrazyTok community, where you can not only give feedback but also interact with hosts, guests, the CrazyTok team and like-minded peers. Plus you can discover new shows and recommended episodes in your areas of interest, not just from our network but from across all podcasts.
  • We also read replies to our newsletter, so just an email response to that would work too.
  • You can (and are highly encouraged to) also leave reviews on your podcasting platform of choice.
  • We are present across various social channels. Comments or DMs on any of them would work too.
  • Finally, you could just fill in the feedback form here.

We’re glad you asked. Unlike many other podcasts out there, we try hard to make our speakers available for follow ups, depending of course on their preferences and convenience.

To do that, please sign up for the free CrazyTok community, which we set up for the express purpose of allowing speakers and listeners to interact and – we hope – enrich each other. Depending on speaker preferences and volume of interaction requests, interactions could be via posts and comments or via periodic ‘office hours’ or webinars.

Do sign up and we’ll see how best to make it happen 🙂

There are multiple ways to do so:

  • Sign up for our newsletter or community to get notified when new episodes drop.
  • Follow the show on your favourite platform if it has such a feature eg Spotify or Google Podcasts.
  • Follow our social channels.

CLIENTS AND CREATORS

There are five broad phases in the life of a podcast episode: creation, production, promotion and monetisation.

  • Design (few days of work, one-time): Show concept, audience, audio and visual assets that will be used for all episodes.
  • Creation (~1 hr): Coming up with the episode topic, securing guest(s) and recording aka the fun part.
  • Production (~2-3 hrs): Content editing, audio editing, transcript production, publishing to platforms.
  • Promotion (~1-2 hrs): Producing images, audiograms, episode summaries, writing catchy descriptions, search optimisation, posting to multiple social platforms, paid promotions.
  • Monetisation (weeks of effort, and after a show has scaled): Finding sponsors, designing and selling merch, packaging content into other paid formats.

Prices are per month and range from X to Y, depending on the plans chosen. See the Plans & Pricing page for more details.

For most of our plans, yes. However, we retain rights around content repurposing and distribution to give us flexibility to promote your show through CrazyTok-owned channels otherwise we’d be limited by your reach, which would defeat the purpose of asking us to help grow your show.

Details are on the Plans & Pricing page.

Yes, we have an audience-building plan designed just for that. Details are on the Plans & Pricing page.

No, but we can refer you to our audio editing partners.

We don’t guarantee downloads as those are dependent on quality of the show, target audience and market fit. More importantly, the growth of a show is directly proportional on longevity and consistency, which is exactly the problem we are helping solve. Trust in the process and keep going and you will find success.

Yes, once the show reaches a scale (at least 500-1000 listens per episode, depending on the niche) where it makes sense to start attempting to monetise.

We do not run ads on the episodes and do not plan to, for now.

Once your show reaches scale ie 500-1,000 weekly listens, we will offer to you recommended monetisation options and execute them. This is likely to take till at least episode 50, more likely longer.
