What do you do when your own home stops feeling safe—but no one else can see it? On this episode of The Dream Catchers Show, I sat down with two brave, inspiring women—Akshata Jantali and Devarti Ghosh—who shared what it really took to walk away from years of abuse and start over as single mothers. They opened up about everything: the red flags, the fear of judgement, and how they found the courage to protect their kids and reclaim their peace. This conversation stayed with me long after we wrapped—and I know it will stay with you too!

Our Guest: Akshata Jantali & Devarti Ghosh

Akshata Jantali is a working professional, a devoted mother, and a survivor of over a decade of domestic abuse. After 13 years in a difficult marriage, she made the courageous decision to walk away—not just for herself, but to protect her son from growing up in a home filled with fear. Today, she speaks out in the hope that her journey will help other women recognise the early signs of abuse and realise they’re not alone. She’s a strong believer in standing up for dignity, healing, and the power of starting over.

Devarti Ghosh

Devarti Ghosh endured 20 years in an abusive marriage before finally breaking free. A designer and independent professional, she masked the trauma for years to protect her children and family—until her own son took a stand and gave her the strength to say “enough.”

Now a single parent building a safer, happier home, Devarti shares her story to encourage other women to trust their instincts, seek support, and never settle for a life without respect.
